Technology Background

We’ve developed the U-Printer, the 3D bioprinter having massively multiplexed system and functions, which was originally invented by Seung-Schik Yoo, a Professor from Harvard Medical School and the Director of the Neuromodulation and Tissue Engineering Laboratory (NTEL) at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Professor Seung-Schik Yoo invented and developed the tech for over 10 years during his research on 3D artificial tissues and organs as a tissue engineer.

We’ve augmented his expertise in biotech through our 3D printing tech and completed the development of the commercial U-Printer product through transferring Professor Seung-Schik Yoo’s source proprietary technology.

Professor Seung-Schik Yoo has implemented various artificial human tissues such as artificial bones, artificial blood vessels, and artificial skins through utilizing 8 Channels of U-Printer Prototype, and transferred his source protocol for manufacturing artificial human skins through 15 channels  of U-Printer which was developed by us as well.
